The Regensburg Christmas Market is rightly considered one of the most beautiful Advent markets in Germany and was voted number 1 in a Facebook poll as the most popular in Bavaria. Its tradition dates back to the 18th century. Today, you will find the gratifying combination of craft market and meeting place for young and old in the pre-Christmas season. Culinary tip: In particular, regional specialties such as blueberry mulled wine from the Bavarian Forest or apple mulled wine from Upper Palatinate orchards are just as popular as the "Original Regensburger Bratwürste" or the "Regensburger" from the grill.

Under century-old maple trees, surrounded by the scent of roasted almonds and cotton candy, nostalgic rides in an enchanting atmosphere await the youngest visitors in the Children's Magic Forest. For the first time, there will be a petting zoo with native animals on the market grounds.
