Regensburg - one of the most beautiful cities in the world, awarded two World Heritage titles at once

Once a flourishing trading metropolis and political center of the Holy Roman Empire, Regensburg is now considered Germany's best-preserved medieval city. Regensburg has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006, and in 2021 the Danube Limes was added as a second title.
