Experience Christian art from over a millennium in one of the most interesting early Gothic churches in Germany. Paintings, sculptures and goldsmith art in the Museum St. Ulrich lead from the 11th to the 21st century - and offer exciting contrasts between medieval and contemporary artists' confrontations with religious motifs. Among the special exhibits is the painting "Beautiful Mary" by Albrecht Altdorfer.
