Theatre Regensburg
The Theater Regensburg is Bavaria's largest municipal multi-discipline theater with its own ensembles for musical theater, drama, dance and young theater as well as its own philharmonic orchestra and opera choir. The approximately 700 performances reach about 180,000 spectators per year in the five venues, which are regularly supplemented by unusual outdoor venues. Divisions
Sebastian Ritschel as opera director, Antje Thoms as drama director, Wagner Moreira as artistic director and chief choreographer of the Regensburg Dance Company and Oda Zuschneid as director of the Young Theater & Community Theater are united by the thought of the power and potential of a common multi-discipline theater. Therefore, we invite you to discover many cross-connections between the musical theater, drama, dance and young theater divisions, in addition to the "classic repertoire" of rediscoveries, the old familiar in a new guise and the retention of the great Regensburg premiere and first performance tradition.
