Sight Biking - On the road by bike

There is a lot to see in Regensburg in a small area - but a lot is a bit off the beaten track when you are on foot: the preserved remains of the city walls, for example, including a highly impressive medieval city gate, avenues and parks beyond, or the Danube islands and the district of Stadtamhof on the other bank of the river. Why don't you try it by bike; you'll get around much faster!

Building bridges - 100 years of incorporation of the districts north of the Danube

The city of Regensburg has grown enormously since its incorporation in 1924: in terms of area, inhabitants, history, culture, personalities and economic power. Two cycle tours take us to the districts that are less well known than the old town, but have their very own character. They have also grown considerably over the last few decades and have undergone rapid development. The "East" tour covers the districts to the left of the Regen, while the "West" tour covers the areas to the right of the Regen along the Danube. There is a lot to discover! Medieval churches, progressive social housing, idyllic river landscapes, urban transport projects, former and current agricultural areas, high-tech industry and service centers.

Segway Tour through Regensburg

Discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site in a completely new way - by Segway. We start directly at the Regensburg Cathedral. From there, it's off without a strenuous walk and with a professional guide to the most famous sights of the former commercial metropolis. Beforehand, the participants will receive a detailed briefing on how the Segway works. Helmets are available free of charge for your safety.
