World Heritage Visitor Center with Bridge Tower Museum

In the historic Saltzstadl at the Stone Bridge, impressive exhibits and objects as well as interactive play stations and media installations await you on two floors of exhibition space. In the World Heritage Visitor Center, history becomes an experience: vivid, varied and informative!

Explore almost two thousand years of history: from Roman camp to modern city. Especially in the Middle Ages, Regensburg experienced a glorious high point: as the city of the Imperial Diet, it was a political world stage, and as a city on the river, it was an international trading metropolis.

Also learn a lot about the ordinary life in the city. About people, their everyday life, their beliefs and their impressive buildings that have survived the times.
