Christmas Regensburg - A City in the Glow of Lights and the Scent of Mulled Wine
Regensburg is always worth a visit - but during the Christmas season it is simply especially beautiful. Christmas markets - of which there are several in the city - with the glow of lights and the scent of mulled wine; festively decorated alleys and streets, whose medieval character is thus particularly well accentuated; lovingly decorated shop windows in the historic house facades; a magnificent shining Christmas tree in front of the backdrop of the representative Old Town Hall; and in general this unmistakable atmosphere of bustle and anticipation - it simply has to make you feel warm and cosy! On our way through the old city, we will tell you all about how Christmas used to be in Regensburg, which traditions were cultivated, and how Regensburgers experience it today. And we will do everything to put you in the pre-Christmas mood ourselves!
